We Gather Together

Would it be considered irony that I'm spending Thanksgiving with Native Americans? People constantly ask me about that.

"Where are you going for Thanksgiving?"
"The Navajo reservation to be with my husband's family."
"Do Native Americans celebrate Thanksgiving?"
"These particular ones do."
"Why? 'Thanks for stealing all our land and everything else we had before you pilgrims came'"
"Something like that."
